"To ensure that Pattaya City and those who are responsible for the security in the City are fully prepared for the festive season, Khun Prachar, the Governor of Chonburi Province officiated at this parade in the grounds of Pattaya City Hall on Monday Afternoon. In attendance were Police Division from Pattaya and Banglamung who were joined by City Hall Security Officers and officers from the Thai Army who will assist in a 3 month campaign which finishes in February to ensure that Tourists feel safe as they enjoy their vacations here in Pattaya. The Governor told those who attended to work hard and remain polite but firm at all times and deal with crimes in accordance with their training. Following the parade officers were sent on their way to begin the three month anti-crime campaign."
