A fellow traveler told me about his stay at 247 Boutique Hotel and it sounded like a good spot. It is right by Soi Boakhoa and LK metro. The rooms listed as 'superior' look nice and have the see through glass walls/windows in the bathroom that I would like to have in my room.

Anyone have any issues or good experiences to share from this hotel?

I haven’t stayed but I made a booking based on the review above.

It's a good hotel and pretty decent value for money. The location is very convenient. Used to stay there all the time when I did shorter trips. The one thing you should be aware of though is the noise coming from Treetown. If you stay out late then it's no problem, but if you want to sleep before 4AM it will be difficult even with earplugs.

Same as above. I got a room facing treetown and it was horrible. I like to go to bed early but because of the music, I couldn't sleep until after 4 am. If you don't care about this then it's fine.

Good to know. Did the room you stayed in have the glass walled bathroom I am seeing in the agoda pictures online?

I plan to stay up all night and into the early morning so I am not sure it will matter to me as much but thanks for the heads up. Did the room you stayed in have the glass walls on the bathroom like I see in the room pictures online?

I was there in August for 8 nights, my first time staying at 247. I have stayed at Honey Boutique on soi honey multiple times since 2018 and have always considered it decent value at around 800 baht per night. I usually book through Agoda, but sometimes find better deals on Priceline or booking.com. This time 247 was less expensive for whatever reason.

Between the two, H Boutique seems to have slightly bigger rooms, much bigger balcony and the all the rooms should be quieter than the tree town facing rooms at 247. At 247, the hotel just feels a little nicer than H Boutique, staff, towels, tv, etc. There is a pool at 247, although I think you can use that pool if you stay at H Boutique. Also there is a short cut at the back of 247 that takes you to treetown and the alley towards Acqua which comes in handy. Regarding the noise in the back rooms at 247, while noticeable it didn’t really bother me as much as I thought it would. The glass between the bathroom and bedroom is frosted so you can silhouettes looking into shower/toilet area. Also the balcony is very small, standing room only, but better than nothing.

I would definitely stay at 247 again, depending of course on the price relative to the other options.

I have stayed there many times over the years, in fact it was the first Pattaya hotel I stayed at back in 2019. The rooms are updated and generally well kept, but some can be a bit smokey smelling and the sound from Treetown can be a bit loud if you plan to go to bed before 3/4am. In instances where the room was musty, they always were happy to move me to another room. One of my favorite things about the hotel was the random movie channel they had that played bootleg movies 24/7, which I find a great way to decompress after a crazy evening. Otherwise, excellent location and great value. I like the Acqua right next to it a bit more, and book Acqua if the price is within $10 USD per night.

Yes. As far as I know all rooms are the same, with the option of twin/double beds.

The bathroom used to have clear glass, but it's opaque now and can't be seen threw.

Yes all the rooms have the glass walled bathroom, but as others have mentioned now it's frosted and not clear like it used to be.
