Hello there *waves*

 

just need a few ideas about a hotel, as i want to try a new one.

 

Should have:

 

• safebox in room
  
• pool
  
• no joiner rip off
  
• rates up to 1500 (cheaper won't hurt)
  
• location arround Soi 1 to Soi 6
  
• restaurant for breakfast inside or very close to hotel
  

 

yeah well thats the min requirements any ideas?

eastiny soi 7 , ticks all your boxes apart from being 1 soi away, 1050 baht superior room, liked it so much i stayed there 3 and 1/2 weeks last trip, free internet in room also, nice breakfast buffet.

I would highly recommend August Suites on Pattaya Klang (about 1 minute walk from the crossroad junction (and about 5 minutes from Soi 6).

 

The staff could not be nicer and friendly. Immaculate throughout. The hotel has only been open about 4 months.

 

You can get 1500 baht rate if you email them.

 

No joiner fee for as long as there are no more than 2 in the room (including you).

 

The hotel does do breakfast, but I prefer to be out and about when eating. There is great food market bit right next to the hotel that is popular with Thais. Basic, but very authentic and cheap as chips. Alternatively there is a fabulous restaurant diagonally across the road (on the corner of a small soi) for nice seating/tables etc.

I 'd pick the Sabaii Inn

 

* safebox in room

yes. Does not mention it on their website, but back in 2004, mine had a large one in the drawer.

 

* pool

large pool right across the street in sister hotel (which is more expensive place)

 

* no joiner rip off

had 3-somes in there without any problems

 

* rates up to 1500 (cheaper won't hurt)

below 1000during low season, and even sub 1400 during high season. VERY large bed. Only difference between Standard and DeLuxe is coffee maker and shower/bathtub. There are rooms with windows and others without. I suggest the window option.

 

* location arround Soi 1 to Soi 6

located right on Soi 2, where baht buses pass by. Short walk to beach and also to BigC.

 

* restaurant for breakfast inside or very close to hotel

hotel included an afternoon tea/coffee with desert. For Breakfast, I mostly ate at the restaurant next door, which also has outdoor seating.
