2100 on the day at the course

Woke up around 0600 and was checking out today as was off to Sin City after golf

Head off to the course at 0640 took about 35 mins to get there without any navigation issues.

First time playing here so going in blind. It's a 36 hole track A B C D nines

Teed off at 0735 and finish at 1035 took 3 hours for the round. Played on my own and

Today I posted a 85 which was a decent score around this place  

Started on the B Course and had a 43 which was 7 over.

2 Par 7 Bogey

Not playing great but wanting a few more pars but still playing ok

Finished on the C Course and had a 42 which was 6 over

2 Birdie 1 Par 4 Bogey 2 Double Bogey

Bit of a frustrating round as I feel this course is there for the taking and despite scoring ok I felt it should be better

The Highlight

Birdie on the 2nd C Course

Stuck it to about 1.5 foot from the hole

2W and 7I. Pin was hidden to me at the back of the green as well and it wasn't until got close to the hole could see how good of a shot it was.  I did think I had hit a good one off the club but it could easily have ran off the back off the green

Birdie on the 3rd C course

9 Iron looked great off the club at the flag  Struck it to about 4 foot past the hole. Must have went very close to going in for a one as it landed short of the hole and finished past it. Can't have missed by much

Had been playing whackamole golf in this nine so this wasnt two career high shots back to back. I had actually played the 12th before the 11th probably an hour before

The Lowlight

7th Hole C

Going Ok until here. Topped the tee shot left into the water

Reload and find fairway. 4th short of green. Chip on tap in putt for a double bogey 6

Today started going left which isn't a good sign at all for me. When I am worried about them going right

Didn't strike them well at all around here

Irons 6

Still inconsistent strikes today

Wedges 7

Didn't hit a lot around here but went ok with what I did hit

Chipping 7

Chipped well around here today. I have taken to just opening the loft up at address a little in LoS. Nothing excessive. Instead of having the the edge of the club pointing square I have opened it up a fraction say to 1o clock and I am.finding I am getting better strikes on the tropical grasses here

Putting 6

28 putts for the round.

0 X three putt hole

The number of putts may seem great but the reality was I didn't putt well around here  I chipped a few close and hit a few iron shots dead so my putting numbers were low but give a false reading on how well I putted

Hit an ok shot out of the only one I got in

Lost Ball tally came in at 1 today

7th Hole tugged the tee shot left and lost in the water hazard was a poor shot. Reality that hazard shouldn't have been in play but I made it

Course is 36 holes in good condition as you would expect. It probably isn't that hard of a course and I found it quite playable for a golfer of limited ability

Can be found on the Eastern side of

Bangkok about 40 mins from Sukhumvit area and about 2 hours from Pattaya

My 7 Iron on the 2nd C leaving be a tap in birdie 3 for the hole

I'd go straight for the Lakeside nine if they give you the option, noticeably tighter than the other three. At 2250 on a Friday that is solid value.
