Looking for Hotel suggestions for 4 nights - Around middle of june.

Hey everyone 😃,

I am coming to Pattaya in June, i came here before, I am looking for suggestion for my last 4 nights there.
I am staying a total of 10 nights. (I am thinking Cape Dara Resort as my last choice, I was there once before,
but I am open to suggestions by professionals hehe). I never tried Payaa and Amber but heard a lot of good things.
The only 5 star I tried before is Cape Dara.

Here is the context :
- 3 nights in Payaa hotel,
- 3 nights in Amber hotel.
- 4 nights left to book. BUDGET is maximum 120 euros/per night if possible.

Here is what I like and what I am looking for with the last hotel :
- chill vibe (I can stay there one day or two without feeling like I need to go out)

- warm and comfy colors, well designed
- swimming pool
- possibly a good view from my room (I like to be up there and see the city or the ocean).

I tried to keep my post short
Appreciate any advice or suggestions ^^.

Have a great day degenerate fellows !

Personally most like the Areca Lodge. I found it relaxing with decent rooms.

If you're looking to stay in the Buakow/Treetown area, then Areca or Amethyst. Neither has very good views, but nothing in that area does, to be honest.

If you're looking to stay in the Beach road/2 road loop, then Blackwoods, Somerset, or Melia. All very handy for Walking Street and Soi 6.

If you're looking to stay in the Pratumnak area, then Sirin or Lewit. Nice, quiet, out of town, completely different, chill, vibe to 'in Pattaya' hotels. The cafe, beach lifestyle.

Any of these will be top notch clean and comfortable, new or recently refurbished, and fit your budget. I've personally stayed at all of these, except Somerset and Melia. Those always seemed to me to be more family oriented. I highly recommend all of these.

Melia is outstanding providing you don't need a balcony.

I like the LK Empress, although it's grandeur is a little faded in places.

Altera is a decent too: worth considering at least.

I thought the Amber was mid tbh, but everyone else seems to love it.

No point in faffing around changing hotels. Amethyst or Areca would be my number one choices in central Pattaya.

I'm with @LOTTELLEE WINNA on this question. I prefer to unpack once. Check out his reviews for some hotels in the Pratumnak area that have easy access to Pattaya, but a completely different vibe

Agree 100%. 3 hotels in 10 days is loopy including non-matching check-in and out times and moving luggage and whatnot. For what gain? I can't see it.

Amethyst or Areca…top quality city centre hotels. Great location. Modern rooms. Outstanding customer service. Nice pools. Cost around ฿2000-฿3000.

I no longer stay in the city centre, preferring the Pratumnak area (it’s more upmarket and laid back than Buhakow/LK area). My go to hotel is the Sirin Exclusive…simply stunning (pics below). Lots of gents clubs, nice restaurants and bars nearby. Again cost is in the ฿2000-฿3000.

Amethyst, beware there is a large construction site right next to this hotel.

Don’t know how long this is going to take, but almost certainly many months.

I second the vote for Sirin, and close behind is Lewit. Pratumnak Soi 5 is just hard to beat.

Thanks again to everyone for your help deciding.

I am making a last comment to close the thread as I chose the Melia hotel because of the overall design/ambiance as I am quite sensitive to it.

I am highly considering the Sirin for another trip as it looks really clean, worth the price and in an area I tried before, so I know I can enjoy my time there.

Happy mongering lads
