Upload issue with iPhone

Just wondering if anyone is having an issue uploading pics to PA from an iPhone? Mines iPhone 12 with security updates done. When I try uploading a pic it starts but then just seems to stop saying “uploading”, been happening for a few months now. When I airdrop the pics to my iPad I have no issues uploading the same pics.

It may be the phone 🤷‍♂️ the memory is pretty full, perhaps that’s causing an issue?

Are you using Safari browser? If so, try installing Chrome or another browser of your choice, and see if it works from there

Cheers, uploads work fine with Chrome.

Now I’m curious as to why they don’t work using Safari on the phone but are fine using Safari on the iPad. Hmmmm.

Working today for me. Sometimes I hit the refresh and it loads if it doesn’t first time. 
 

the pa editor seems to keep the post you’re trying to write even after you refresh

I never had to hit refresh before, now it’s needed a lot. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had all sorts of issues for many weeks now on both iphone and ipad. Tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome and problems with all.

For weeks it was the photo upload issue but that seems OK now. More recently it’s that the dialogue box is missing so I can’t type a post. Also, when browsing the forum the photos in a thread don’t show.

To say it’s frustrating is an understatement.

Are you running the latest iPhone 26.3.1 operating system?  An older version is sure to have some bugs in it that might be causing your problem. And doing a forced restart usually solves minor glitches.

Yes I’m running the latest OS, my non tech self thinks the problems only started after either the last update or the one before.

Have you tried asking about this on an iPhone forum??  I always find a solution by posting there because someone else surely has the same problem and I’ve always found the answer from some of the experts if there’s a fix available.  Good Luck!!

I have a similar issues like Matt. Since about mid February I can not quote or answer any posts.

When I hit quote, the text box where I’d see the quoted text and can type my reply is simply not visible.

When I want to add to a post, I see the text box until I click into it and then it simply disappears.

Happens both on Safari and Chrome.

And it’s soooo annoying, that I have nearly stopped writing anything here because I always have to fire up my computer to write something.

Saying all this, I’m currently typing this on my iPhone and don’t know why I can do this.

It could be old forum software code has been cached locally and is causing a conflict with the new version of software.

If you haven't already tried, suggest clearing your cache. Instructions below on clearing the cache for one website rather than for everything on your computer.

I’ve tried all this, plus installed Firefox as a third browser, and no difference.

On Firefox it seemed to be ok for a while, but doing exactly the same now.
Once I click into the text field, the message ‘loading’ appears for a split second. Then it is either overlayed or replaced with the upload a file box.
No chance to write anything.

Similar when I want to quote anything, the upload box overlays the text box asap.

It’s actually really getting on my nerves now and after playing with three different browsers and getting the same results, I'd say it’s the forum software doing some funky stuff.

Not sure if anyone can or will look into it, or who here to talk to.
