Not been over to Thailand for a couple of years..use to get my sim from the airport..is it still the best place to get a sim ..or wait till I get to Pattaya

I remember years ago they gave away True Sim cards when you arrived on the plane. They had a small amount of credit just enough to get them activated and get you going. Those days are long gone

I buy one and get it installed while I wait for my bag to arrive. It's more expensive than getting one in town but the convenience is worth it to me.

I got a DTAC sim in 2008 and I today I still have the same phone number.  I always keep it topped up so that it never expires
