Hi all 

Just landed for my 8th trip. My first stop is usually to pick up apcalis but I've now been to 3 pharmacies on Buakhao who say they are out of stock?

I then went to the pharmacy opposite Areca who said they only had the Thai alternative (?) which was still taladafil but 1300 for 4 pills!? Scamming from a proper pharmacy?

Anyways, I'm likely to just go with the lady outside Areca as I have read that many use her but she is 400 for 4x cialis pills which makes me wary that it's fake. If it is generics substituted I'm fine with that. 

Never had issues getting apcalis before...is there a known issue? And can anyone vouch in particular for the cheap cialis from the lady outside Areca?

I always buy from vendors on soi Diana. B200-B400 for 4 Cialis pills. No issues with them.

Have used the lady outside Areca regularly and never had any issues. Most likely you will get a generic version of Cialis but it still works.

She also has bottles of a generic Cialis - 30 pills of 20mg each for about 1000 baht I think it is

I always buy at Tim Pharmacy on second road (between Beertique and 7-eleven). They charge 400 for a box of 4 Apcalis.

Pharmacy always more expensive.

Yeah but not 1300 for a 'Thai version' (pharmacist words) of tadalafil when it's normally 400 for the same amount of apcalis!

I recently enquired about some Cialis tabs from that lady as well. She started off at 1000, and literally beat herself down to 600!

Perhaps the Thai version is a licensed pharmaceutical?

My understanding is there is little to none genuine brand name cialis here (happy to be shown incorrect), any box with that wording is most likely a fake (though it may have the same active ingredient).

The generics names brands work just as well and aren’t being sold as fakes, they are simply generics. 

I can confirm that whatever pills she sold me as cialis for 100 a pill work just fine 🙂

They do work, but being fakes they are most likely sildenafil, not tadalafil. I can tell with my nose, it gets congested with sildenafil and that happened with those same Cialis pills you bought.

The box was identical to that bought on previous trips with one except - previously the name on the box said Apcalis now it said Cialis with Tadalafil written underneath. Otherwise it was the same and worked the same for me.

Another thread on this board suggested there was a clapdown going at customs etc regarding the importation of generic ED medication mainly from India.

So with that as hindsight I wondered if that was the reason for the name change on the box, which also clearly stated it contents contained Tadalafil the chemical name.

Cialis and Apcalis are of course brand names. Cialis & Viagra have been off patent now for many years so they can be legally sold as Tadalafil (or Sildenafil) unless Thai officials have other concerns - who knows?

Going back many years in Pattaya, maybe when still under patent Cialis was always very expensive.

Referring to ED medication as "Generic" rather then "fake" is more descriptive and accurate IMO, unless it is just rubbish and not an active medication such as Tadalafil or Sildenafil (ie Viagra).

According to Pattayakamagra.com Apcalis sx20 is no longer being made and it's official replacement is Tadails sx20. I don't see any Tadalis sx20 available from any street vendors and also checked a few Pharmacies and they didn't have any as well. If anyone finds any Tadalis from any street vendors or Pharmacies, please report back.

tbh most cialis is fake in pattaya especially from street vendor. the pharmacy with the permission to command and sell the real one arent going to sell you without aprescription. the small pharmacy you see on each corner sometime sell real and sometime not. its difficult to be 100% certain because even when the package and the pills seam 100% legit i never bought who who was possible to be verified the lot on the website of the lab who was on the box. your chance to get real stuff are probaly higher with the geneic version then with the original.

 

do some search on the web when you buy a package. with goole image and chat gpt its easir then ever to spot thte fake one.

You live and you learn. 700 was from pharmacy and rest street vendors.

Maybe try these, Dr Martyn on Facebook says they are legit but depends on supplier, 30x20mg for 600+ baht. Apparently he had them tested at a lab and was same as genuine Cialis

This is what I get from the lady near Areca. usually pay 7-800b for the bottle.
Purchased multiple times over the past 2 years and they always work like a charm.
I usually split them in 1/2 and 20mg is too much for me.

Has the Areca lady relocated ? 

Been past in the last 2 days ( 10.30am and 12noon ). And didn't see her in her usual spot .

I always go in the afternoon, maybe try around 2-4pm

Yes apparently splitting 20mg into half and taking every other day gives a ballpark 5mg daily dose, good for guys with BPH

I used to go to the former Tim pharmacy on 2nd Road near Villa market.

Previously I would buy three boxes, (each contaning 4 pills) for 1,000 baht.

A couple days ago I went to get more Apcalis. 

The clerk said all she was selling now is one box of 4 pills for 500 baht.

Ripoff.

Areca vendor, here I come!
