Is that the old Sawasdee Sabai? Next to Acqua? Kind of low rent isn't it? Did it get a significant renovation? From what I an see on Ecpedia it appears to have wet bath.

That's right , I only went in reception  to ask about prices about 1000 anight , didn't  see any room . Am leaving that to LW , I told reception  to expect  a visit from our reporter  and she can't  miss him , will be wearing  that kaleidoscope  shirt and carrying  a LV handbag and a another bag of golf clubs

I think this one may be below his minimum spec.

@worldpunter and @Phoenix Dave Your intrepid hotel roving reporter (LV bag, golf clubs and snazzy shirt etc) is in town in 10 days time - so will check out Star. Yes looks like it’s next to Acqua on the little Soi that runs down to the back door of Hemmingways. Could only find this pic.

Just looked on agoda rooms available for 1512 baht this saturday night.

 

@LOTTELLEE WINNA ,   Another for you LW,   HOUSE HOTEL   off  3rd road  , told me in reception only opened 5 weeks ago , walk in price 1100 baht , has lift  ,   5 floors , OK  , khrap  , our man LW  will be along shortly he has a bit of a back log at this time   ,

Thanks @worldpunter, and to be fair, this doesn’t look too bad. In terms of location it won’t be ideal for some, but it’s not too far from Buhakow (indeed it is right next door to the 5 ⭐️ Arbour hotel - somewhere I want to try). Here are a few pics of House.

House hotel is on Agoda, if anyone is interested in a few photos that will give you an idea of the rooms. The view of the toilet from the window in the bathroom is um interesting

Give The Arbour a try, it's a very nice hotel. A little bit of info, despite what it says on various booking Apps, the 
Premier rooms are larger than the Deluxe rooms. The Premier rooms look towards Pattaya Tai.

The hotel's internal fire exit map also shows this, and when I quizzed the staff, they confirmed the Premier side is larger.

The bed facing the window is a nice touch, especially on the higher floors; on the downside, storage space is typical of this type of hotel.

The Penthouse Suite looks fantastic, but the price per night is not so fantastic.

Yes mate - Arbour is 100% on my list of places to stay 👍

This might be of interest, brand new hotel on second rd close to Pattaya Klang.

Rooms do seem small (22m2) with the exception of an accessible room at 32m2

Rooftop pool looks nice
