Been living here since March and something dawned on me, in a place with a large population of wild dogs, the almost complete absence of dog shit.

I compare this Paris that has no wild dogs but an abundance of arrogant dog owners that leave their little chow chows shit all over the pavement and just leave it there for people to step in.

Where does it go? Do they have designated areas the dogs know where to go or an army of people picking up after them?

To be frank I'm here since one week, I saw maybe 4 dogs max, a few more cats but not that many.

people probably put them in garbage even if its not their dog shit. there is raining a lot more in thailand then in paris also. the amount of pest and vermin of all kind is also insanely high in pattaya, i seen more coackroch in pattaya restaurants then anywhere else where i been on this earth. i presume a fest like a dog shit is quickly eaten by thousand of insesct and small animal.

Ha! I just moved from a major European city and this is so true. Literally stepped in dog mess three times in my last week there. Haven't had that problem once here yet. Maybe it's just that people here actually clean up after themselves? Or the rain like someone mentioned.
