As the heading says , where can someone get immunised for Hep A+B 

 

In Pattaya? I think all the hospitals would offer it.

I can’t find prices for Bangkok Hospital Pattaya but the one in Bangkok is:

Hepatitis A vaccine: For adults aged 15 years and older (2 doses) – 6,200 THB

Hepatitis B vaccine: For adults aged 15 years and older (3 doses) – 4,100 THB
 

Pattaya Memorial quotes 3500 and 1890.

I guess other hospitals will be between the 2.

Believe the clinics are an option as well. Where googling clinics earlier and noticed most had vaccination on the menu. Worth asking around for price [and availability]

Thanks, yes in Pattaya, a girl I know in the industry I was going to offer her a medical check and any immunisations that she might need. 

 

Do you or anyone know if Thai people have any vax programs like we do here in th OZ.

We used to get MMR, Polio, TB when we were kids, I think they also added Hep A an B , called twinrix it is given twice about two or three months apart.

Twinrix is given as a series of three shots.  The second shot is one month after the first and the third shot is six months after the first.  I just finished my third shot a couple months ago.

I was told by my UK doctor that my Hep A jab I had many years ago was now good for the rest of my life (I'm 70).

He also told me that Hep B was not really required for general tourism and was mainly for medical staff etc who have higher exposure to infections. Having said that, I didn't declare any mongering activity!!!

Whats the take up here of a Hep B jab??

For a standard check up package I can recommend Jomtien Hospital:

They can add other tests/checks if needed.

They also have various vaccinations available:

I’ve found them very good. They are a sister hospital of BHP and share records etc.

An appointment isn’t necessary but they’d probably prefer it.

The outpatient/check up department is usually quieter at 8.30/9am than later. Probably have to go back to see a doctor for check up results. Once it was 3 hours later and once the next day for me.

PrEP is also very effective at preventing Hep B.

Try a travel clinic in your area. They'll be happy to offer the Hep B vaccine to you. Expect to pay around £50 for each of the three jabs.
