Just. 2 day holiday out of the madness.  Chose this off the internet, liked the room pictures and reviews seemed good 

Bolt from Patts was 700bt and a potential issue arises … it’s a long way from anywhere and while there may be some return bolts in high season I currently don’t like my chances. 

Next, the nearest 7/11 is a kilometre away.  It had an ATM.  It does not now. You really need a car or a bike here. Anyway as a relaxed break it’s not bad since there really isn’t much to do.  The beach is nice but dirty with plastic flotsam.  

I did not get sick from the beach shack food across the road from the hotel. 

Lots of Thai families relaxing. 
Without a car or bike you’ll be walking to dinner and not far as the dogs are numerous.  

Check in was efficient, good staff. Lobby is large with a very basic breakfast buffet. 

I choose an Ocean view corner suite.  Very nice less than 2000bt per night

The hotel is old but refurbished throughout  - however - you can’t fix old drains and you do get a waft up the pipes occasionally.  Water pressure is a thing too.  

Modern smart TV is good.  The raised bedroom platform is a bit weird and the bed is low; all looks good but not that practical.  Storage is an issue.  Plenty of space but no cupboards just a rail and no drawers.  Good sized room safe.
