Thinking of a day trip from Pattaya to Sri (Si?) Racha since relatively close.  Googled some attractions such as Khao Keow and Koh Loy parks and Space Museum.  Wondering if any more touristy attractions in that city?  Any massage shops of note for decent massage with extras?

ศรีราชา is the correct spelling (not wanting to sound like a smart ass). When a Thai word is written with Roman characters it depends on which transliteration or transcription scheme is used. Yes, the ‘r’ in Sri is silent and it is pronounced like the English word ‘see’. That’s why you might see it referred to as either Sri or Si.

Hope you report back if you go. I’ve never been, although I’ve been thru it on a local bus. I once spent a few nights in Chonburi city, north of Sri Racha. It’s was ok, but nothing of note to recommend unless you’re going for the buffalo races. I went for a boxing match.

You ever end up going? I’m considering spending a day/night in Si Racha as well. I saw a doc a long time ago that Si Racha was more geared towards Japanese tourists. Let me know how your experience was if you went.

A friend and I went to Sriracha for a day trip last July.  We brought girls with us so I can't comment on the P4P scene, but there was a street with many massage places that looked tempting.

 

Some cool little bars and a shopping mall where we played table tennis with local youths who seemed happy we were there. 

 

Lots of Japanese bars with Japanese customers.  We were welcomed every place we went.

Thanks for the info. I just got to Sriracha. Do you happen to remember the name of the street with the bars or massage parlors? It’s 1:37pm now and I wanna shoot one off during the day, probably best in a massage type setting.

Then later tonight hit a bar and get a ST or LT. pretty sure this will only be a one day trip for me here is Sriracha
