Similan and Surin Islands Liveaboard - Khao Lak

Last year I decided to start discovering the southern part of Thailand. Booked 3 nights on a liveaboard boat. Starting point was from Khao Lak. Their setup was very convenient. Boat stays near the islands and move from one area to the next. One day you're in the Surin Islands next day you move on to Richelieu Rock. While a speedboat does daily round trips from shore to pickup/drop off people. meaning you can join any day as long as capacity allows for more people

Boat caters mainly for scuba divers. However, we had daily visitors who came for snorkeling, others for fishing and chilling in the middle of the sea.

Visibility was amazing, sea life is diverse. and the boat I went with was also good, crew were very friendly, rooms were clean with A/C, cook was exceptional she asked me on my first day if there were any types of food I don't eat so she can prepare something with each meal to cater for my individual needs.

Overall, I'd say this was one of the best liveaboard destinations I've been in so far. Highly recommended.
