Love Beach Club. Chaweng Koh Samui - review

I’ve got 4 nights here.  2 down 2 to go.   It’s ok, not my style but when you’re travelling with others you have to be flexible

It’s roughly in the middle of the Chaweng beach strip and is on the beach.  Very close to hundreds of restaurants and bars.   Also directly under the flight path.   Hmmm

It’s all a bit kitsch.  

There are a lot of touches like this for your influencing pleasure.

Love seats and the like.  

The rooms themselves are quite a variety.  From dormitories of 8 to Deluxe rooms  like ours  

it’s a younger people place although there are families here too.  The beautiful people bathe by the pool all day  … this pic is from the internet as I felt a bit of a perv getting my camera out. 
The beach is a bit shit here really although the beanbags add to the charm at low tide  

This one I took early yesterday

there is a bar and a pool bar.  Restaurant.  Pool table(20bt)  and other stuff.  3 massage stations starting at 350bt.

Music plays all day not too loud.  The infamous Ark Bar is next door and pumps until  1am.  We are having a pool party tonight so I expect I’ll go out elsewhere.  There are some bloody big speakers and lights around the pool. 

Our rooms are only one back from the pool on ground.  Surprisingly quiet inside even from the jets above but if you’re a light sleeper you won’t like it. We have a little patio with 2 chairs, a table and drying rack. 

The grounds are nice and maintenance is good

At night there is a fire show  goes for over an hour  

You can walk the beach at low tide and many of the resorts in this area (including this one) have day rates which I’m not a fan of.  Bunch of randoms clogging up the pool.

Good to do once.  At about 2200bt per night it’s fine.
