Dusit Thani Hua Hin review

We booked the Dusit for a bit of lux at the end of our holiday.  Booked during Dusit pay 1 get 2 deal month which made it 4500 baht per night in the king club sea view room. Still expensive but throw in the “free” breakfast, 2 hour cocktails and all day nibbles and soft drinks it’s not bad; we had 3 or 4 drinks each at happy hour and the food there was really enough for dinner

The South American restaurant on the beach is great

Beach is great with good hard sand to walk on each way at low tide  

Really good service and staff with good English.  I woke today to a delayed flight. Now 3:40 am thanks Jetstar and after a minor scuffle the lounge staff booked me an extra day at better than the same cheap rate. 

Personally I wouldn’t stay here more than 2 nights so apart from the delay we’re happy. It’s only 20 mins out of town but that adds up.  3 restaurants here which are great.   
 

Possible repeat.  2 nights to rest at the end of a stay in town works well. Normally a free late checkout to 2 pm and they let you stay in the club lounge after which we would have done until a 3:30pm car up to swampy
