Chinese cell in Thailand

Can I buy a thai sim card for a chinese phone? Not sure if it is the same band. Can you still buy a sim in thailand? I guess I can search forum for that answer but still curious about the chinese.

I use a phone that I purchased in china. I think most should work with Thai sim cards.

i think what's important is how many bands it has. mine is a quad band and am pretty sure it works everywhere in the world. doesn't matter who makes it but then i could be full of shit too.

As long as your phone is GSM (needs a SIM card), Quad band and unlocked, you shouldn't have a problem.
