Rhinoplasty (nose jobs)?

Was wondering if any dude out there in forumland has had Rhinoplasty in Thailand and can advise me on the best places, prices, etc? I have had problems with my breathing since I broke it in an accident and would also like it corrected for cosmetic purposes as I will admit that it has taken some of my confidence away since the accident just over a year ago. Please serious answers as I have been wanting to do this since I broke up with my girlfriend (well gotta blame something LOL)

Check out Bumrungrad hospital in bkk as they do stacks of this sort of stuff.

They do have their own web site.

 

Must be pretty good as i think they do thousands of cosmetic surgeries a year.

Yanhee Hospital in Bangkok (Thonburi) is considered number one for cosmetic surgery in Thailand. Their surgeons are all US or UK trained, and they have many international customers.

 

I would also consider Dr Preecha at the Preecha Aesthetic Institute(PAI) - he's considered by many to be the top cosmetic surgeon in Thailand.

i had it in bumrungrad after my accident in 1998. In 2000 after the scarring had settled down i had a nosejob for reconstruction. I was not pleased with the result however, i'm still pondering on a new one in the future and maybe a complete makeover not a gender reassignment op. but just wanna become a hansum man again

 

it did not cost me back then cos insurance covered the op but i think the tab was about 1200 euro's for the nosejob in bumrungrad. Once again i was not pleased with the outcome so other hospitals might do a better job for less money (bum is one of the most expensive)

Just make sure you check you doctors credentials and ask to see picture of their work before you go under the knife. Also make sure he/she has allot of experience of working on farang noses so you don't end up with a nose that looks like an electrical socket. I’m going to Dr. Kunachak in Bangkok for my surgery in December. He speaks and writes good English and has a fair amount of experience working on farang noses. He not cheap by Thai standards but you get what pay for. Cheap isn’t the best route to go especially with your nose.

Whoever you choose, just make sure they are an ear, nose and throat specialist. Rhinoplasty is a procedure performed under general anesthesia and may require an overnight stay. Bruises around the nose and under the eyes usually dissipate after about 2 weeks. If it were me, I'd pay the extra and have the procedure performed at an international hospital such as Bumrungrad (in BKK). More expensive - yes; higher probability of getting it right the first time with few or no complications - yes.

Bangkok Pattaya Hospital does all the cosmetic surgery.
