Hey everyone,
Just wrapped up a month training at Venum Training Camp in Pattaya and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it!

The Basics:

  • Cost: Full access runs ~€400/month. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for.

  • Access: Unlimited classes across Muay Thai, Boxing, BJJ, and Strength & Conditioning. Perfect if you want to mix it up.

The Vibe:
The coaches are awesome super skilled, friendly, and genuinely want you to learn. That said, don’t expect constant 1-on-1 attention. The gym is always busy, especially with pro fighters (some compete in ONE Championship!) training there. The setup splits pros and "normals," but the energy is inclusive.

Daily Routine:

  • Morning Session (Normals): Focused on bag work. Coaches demo techniques, correct your form, and keep things structured. Great for building fundamentals.

  • Afternoon Session (Normals + Pros): This is where it gets fun! Sparring + clinching drills. The pros join for the last hour (after training 3–4 hours themselves). HUGE plus: They go light and technical with beginners—no ego, just clean work. Felt safe and learned a ton watching them.

  • Bonus: After sparring, you get FREE 10-min pad work 1-on-1 with a coach! A sweet way to end the day.

Why It’s Worth It:

  • Improvement: My technique, timing, and confidence skyrocketed in just a month. The combo of sharp coaching and diverse partners (pros included!) forces growth.

  • Facilities: Top-notch equipment, authentic Thai gym atmosphere, and legit pro presence.

  • Community: Everyone from fighters to newbies is respectful and driven. No toxic egos!

Minor Drawbacks:

  • The price tag is steep if you’re on a tight budget.

  • Coaches can’t hover over you (classes are big), so self-motivation is key.

Final Verdict:
If you’re serious about leveling up and want a taste of pro-level training (without being crushed!), Venum is 100% worth it. Yes, it’s expensive, but the access, expertise, and unique chance to train alongside elite fighters make it an unforgettable experience. I left a better martial artist—and totally hooked!
