Jeg bestemte meg for å bestille min neste reise til Thailand som er i januar allerede nå. Så at Norse har billetter tur/retur til under 7000 kroner på en del datoer dersom man nøyer seg med håndbagasje. Norse tillater 10 kg håndbagasje og det holder nok for mange dersom man er litt selektiv. Jeg har reist med Norse før og elsker selskapet. Problemet er selskapets dårlige økonomi. Selskapet gikk med 1,5 milliarder i underskudd for regnskapsåret 2024 og egenkapitalen er på minus 2,4 milliarder kroner. Forrige uke ble det lagt frem en kvartalsrapport som viser et underskudd på ca 150 millioner. Dette resultatet ble løftet opp av en engangsgevinst på 300 millioner. Mao ble driftsunderskuddet på ca 450 millioner i minus.

Selv om man kan få tilbake pengene dersom man har betalt med kredittkort, er dette en prosess jeg ønsker å unngå. Dersom flyselskapet går konkurs mens jeg er på ferie, må jeg selv rydde opp. Å kjøpe nye billetter rett før reise i høytiden kan bli veldig dyrt. Jeg valgte derfor å bestille reise med Turkish Airlines.

Looks like the collapse of the Airline has begun.

I flew with them in December, returned in January, thank god nothing happened.

But never again, the risk is too great and service is non existent.

Watching you video it appears Norse did not offer you an alternative flight when they cancelled, either eith them or an alternative airline. sd they are lragally required to do. You would proabably also be entitled to upto £520 if you had arrived more than 4 hours after the scheduled time

Accepting a cancelation/refund from the airline is normally the worst you can do as it removes any legal obligations or alternative options from them once you do so.

I personally would have continued to Gatwick and tried to get Norse customer service desk to rebook me on another airline

I don't think vindici is the "Pattaya Owl" (the guy who made the video). The "owl" is too naiive to have figured out the airline needs to rebook him. He just wanted to get to Pattaya so fast to eat bangers and get footage for his next hit music video that he booked with Qatar for over 1400 quid.

Customer service desk would have been deserted, with the staff hiding in the crew room……. A phone number would have been scribbled on a scrap of paper 😁

I had considered using them but after hearing recent horror stories ill be giving them a wide berth
