Unfurnished v shell

Can anyone explain the difference between unfurnished and shell properties, advantages/disadvantages of both. View Talay 5 has some or a lot of both. I guess shells are just never having been lived in

Shells won’t have floor tiles or bathrooms or kitchens. Probably not light fittings etc etc. AFAIK the only shells in VT5 now are in Thai name.

Unfurnished will be completed condos with flooring, bathrooms, kitchens but, obviously, no furniture.
