Just doing a quick Google search of Pattaya and staggering the amount of crimes, Irish tourist attacked, Korean stabbed, Taiwanese attacked. This isn’t the Pattaya I know but then again, I’m rarely outside after 12am and I’m assuming most of these incidents occur late at night.

Pattaya attracts more and more scum. However most of the time scum fights scum. I am not conserned that some alien comes up to me and stabs me with a knife without reason.

In Germany however I would feel less safe. There the imported scum stabs random victims.

Yes....Google any City for crime rates and it may suprise those who still think the World is a safe place IT ISN'T 

I feel safer walking around Thailand even drunk than just about any other place particularly at home ( UK)

Most violent crimes recorded, the assailant is known to person abeit brief or prolonged prior contact, and stranger stranger violence/murder is rare.

I would assume 99 percent of us will rarely have a problem and those that do may in some way contributed to that.

I actually think Pat's Yrs ago had more extreme violence occurring and is safer now than 15 or 20 yrs ago.

Sad somebody has died, some crazy cnuts about, but likely we have little to fear and for many Pat's continues to be a safe venue to party in

The world is far safer and far less violent crime than in any decade prior.

We get 24 hour news always trying to shock and scare us.

I think the 70s were one of the most violent on record.

These types of crimes have been happening for many years.

Years ago they used to publish all the crimes in gorey detail.

Flip the calender back 80 years, Germany didn't need to import scum. There are, and always have been bad people of every race, creed and colour.
