Chaiyapoon Inn, not bad

Just thought i would give you all the low down on the Chaiyapoon Inn in Pattaya,

Its a nice hotel to stay in, if you are on a budget, the rooms are about 500 to 900 baht a night, its probably a fiteen minute walk to Walking Street,

or you can stroll around the local bars, restaurants and cafes which are all reasonable. the rooms are clean and spacious, only slight let down was theres no lift so if you get stuck on the third floor its a bit of a walk but very quiet considering how busy the area is. Theres also an excellent restaurant at the top of the road on the corner opposite Tonys Gym. All in all i enjoyed my stay there, would have posted pictures but unfrotunatel the camera broke.

the pictures are not really like the place, its a bit tattier, but not bad

I think the so called budget market is really really competitive now with some fantastic value to be had. You can stay in 700-800bt range and get excellent rooms no problem. LK Metro seems to have a great selection of these places.

I stayed there a about 18 months ago and it was fine. Tried to book again online and they were slow to reply and quoted more than the price on the website. I think the management changed. I then booked the Irish Rovers and never looked back
