Any of you know of hotels that have rooms with private pools or airbnbs ?

Plenty of villas with private pool on Airbnb.

just search on the website using the filters that interest you.

 Will mainly be Airbnb.

Amethyst has a room with private pool.

 

There are hotels in Jomtien who also have pools. Like MASON.

And in the north Villa Raya Resort - Private Pool Villas

When I stayed at The Amethyst hotel  in September of 2024 I had reception give me a tour of the duplex suite as I liked the location but also fancied a private pool. The room is ok but nothing to write home about, I much preferred the grand executive room tbh, better room layout. The pool is ok but it doesn’t quite feel like it fits the experience I’m after. It would likely suit 2 families with a couple children. I monitored this room for about 12 months and noted it’s almost always unoccupied. 

I ended up renting an Airbnb in Jomtien with a private pool, much better value.
 

I will add if you go the Airbnb route be sure you read the terms and conditions of cancellation, there is a window for cancellation and if your dates or plans change you may lose 50% of your total price. It is ‘up to the host’ to decide if they will refund your money. My 2nd air bnb experience the Thai owner didn’t refund my funds and I lost the equivalent of 15K baht and it was 12 weeks out from the arrival date.

La Miniera Pool Villas is an SLH property, which brings it under the Hilton umbrella now.

Looking at rates in November/December, it appears to be going for around $240 USD per night, BUT it can be booked for 40,000 Hilton points.  Since Hilton points can be purchased for .5 cents each, a points booking would run you $200 rather than $240.

It's pretty damn far out.  It's very close to the Dolphinarium, which you drive past on the freeway coming into Pattaya from the airport.
