There are bars with girls, karaoke places and massage shops on the main road, but don't expect to find much. Where the party happens it's mostly tourists. Phangan also is foreigners partying with foreigners. Samui can find as many bar girls, freelancers and sex massage as you want.

I don’t think so that there are any in koh tao or phangan. Just participate in those late night pagan rituals organized by tantric sex or trauma healing self proclaimed experts and nature goddesses and you will get laid for free. If you actually look like a Viking then it will be a cake walk for you to get laid in these islands. But mostly with Russian women.

Samui has local BGs whom you can barfine. Soi mango and Lamai area has many.

The latter. Not a lot of actually local people.

I have visited the island a couple of times. Frankly, you’re better to go there in anticipation of some great diving, and a bit of partying with backpackers rather than chasing p4p. If you are a charming chappie you could get lucky with a bit of stuff on holiday there, like yourself.

Be a bit careful about hitting on Thai girls there. Bad things have have been known to happen when local dudes take offence.
