Yeah, and who is going to enforce it?

Looking how last year went, and reports of Pattaya getting more hotel bookings it's going to be a splash.

Last year people on WS were still at it around 2am.

There wasn’t a call for enforcement, simply a group asking city officials and other business to promote the idea.
A lot of businesses already do it, we do, as do many farang owned bars on the 6, the last few years it was the Thai owned bars that kept the water going into the night.

years ago after dark water play was not found or very very little anyway. That said I remember when they only sprinkled water over your head as you passed also. Those days are over

I have to keep reminding myself its a job :GoldenSmile1:
At Babydolls we are serious about fun

As I said, on another thread seen most Songkrans since 1991, and yes it was limited to one day, and it all stopped at 6pm. but as for only sprinkling water on you, LOL.

And there seemed far more of that awful paste back then, as well.

The Thais put up with these 'stupid cnuting Tourists' because they support the local economy.   You and I have the option to leave during songkran.   Or stay and piss n moan about how 'stupid cnuting Tourists' are ruining OUR city.

Gaee lao. mai law doi. Mai ben rai, mee daang!

Locking this thread - there are plenty of opportunities to discuss in the (many) other threads currently running about Songkran.
