Can anyone suggest a pharmacy that Ritalin 10 mg?
Not the slow release but the ordinary version?

I have a combination of Severe sleep apnea and the side effcts of a series of hormone injections my oncologist prescribes to reduce testosterone, to combat prostate cancer.

These two issues combined have created a condition close to narcolepsy, I want to sleep during the day, fall asleep in my chair during a conversation, and cant sleep at night.

I have work to do that requires attention and focussing and clear thinking, but that is nearly impossible now

A friend, hearing about my situation, gave me a couple of Ritalin Tablets, and my try out was spectacular, I could concentrate, focus on my work and didn't feel tired during the day.  I kept track of my BP during that day and the Ritalin appeared to have no impact on my BP.

Can anyone tell me which pharmacy would supply it across the counter?

There are various similar drugs under different names such as Methylin, Adderall, Dexedrine etc (I googled it), if no-one else replies I'll ask at the Pharmacy this evening. 🤔

I have a prescription to methylphenidate and can take my meds with me for short trip, but would be interested in the procedure obtaining prescription in Thailand if should I move there.

 

 

Not sure about Ritalin, but the pharmacy opposite Lek Hotel sells steroids over the counter.

I don't believe ritalin is available in TH.

I'm not 100% certain of this, but I was searching it because I take ADHD medication such as ritalin.

If ritalin isn't available, I highly highly doubt vyvanse or dexies are either. Considering the stimulant problem within the country.

 

Btw are you living in Pattaya or are you on a trip?

Ive seen some take it as a party drug so its available but dont know how they get it and dont want to know either lol

If it is indeed available, then I would bet that you'd need an ADHD diagnoses from a psychiatrist who could also provide a script.

You can get a lot of things OTC in Thailand but I doubt ritalin is one of them.

Ritalin is available in TH but officially only with a (thai) doctor's prescription.  Classified as Cat 2 psychotropic substance here.  Now, TIT so someone may come up with an alternative source... 
I understand you don't have a regular prescription from your oncologist or possibly pulmonologist.  Obviously if possible, this would be best route, but I guess it's not feasible right now? 
AFAIK best bet would be to go to Thai doc and see if they would write you the prescription, especially if it's for a short duration supply.

Adderall and Dexedrine (any amphetamines) are prohibited in Thailand. You cannot get permission from the Thai FDA to bring in any. And you risk arrest. To them Adderall equals meth equals jail.

They allow Ritalin to enter with a prescription and I doubt any pharmacy will sell it without a prescription.

OP: Get it from your doc and bring it in with the prescription bottle. In theory you could go to a Thai physician but they're going to be sour on farangs looking for controlled drugs.
