Thanks for your reviews, looking forward to my stay there.

Only thing I'm bummed out about is no balcony. It's almost a deal breaker for me but not quite. Everything else looks fantastic

The balcony thing is a real shame. The view from my room was terrific too, it would have been an incredible spot for a balcony.

I stayed In early August for 3 nights in the Levels Premium room that gets you access to the executive lounge, found it very comfortable, the room does not have a balcony, which wasn't a problem with me, executive lounge was a nice extra for a few glasses of wine and some light bites before hitting the town, breakfast was very busy but a very good selection.

If you want to bring a guest( i didn't!), I'm pretty sure you did not have to leave ID which while I don't think is necessarily a good thing, I can see how other punters would prefer it. Staff could not be more helpful, manager is an Irish fella who was very approachable and had a good chat with him about his journey to becoming the hotels manager.

I have stayed at the Hilton in the executive rooms, and I would say VFM wise this is better, I have also booked for next month for 5nights, and would advise you register with the Melia website and book through that as you can accrue loyalty points which you can use towards your booking, It cost me 20% less than what is showing on Agoda currently.

thanks for the review! i definitely hope to bring a gal home during my stay, so it's good to know that they don't seem to be strict.

Booked in here for later in the year to try a new place, I feel like everyone mentions the Hilton as the go to premium hotel but I've never been a fan.

I didn't even know about the Levels stuff so I will see what it is like but I'm also not a big fan where they make a big song and dance of the arrival. I just want to be in my room as fast as possible and left alone, I don't want a drink, I can take my own bag, I don't need it delivered 30seconds after I walked myself to my room, or given a tour of room and where to find the toilet, I'll figure it out!

Thanks to all who have posted info - very helpful!

The one big issue for me is the lack of a decent worksurface.  From the photos, there seems to be a table, but it is by the sofa, which isn't that conducive to a work session of decent legnth.

It definitely seems like a better bargain for most than the Hilton, but the work surface at Hilton is one thing that I like.

All of that said, I "made do" at InterContinental with a poor work space, so I assume I could easily make it work.

Yes agree on the work space issues

was in a suite for a week and asked if they could bring in a spare table

 apparently none available😅

Had exactly the same issue. Was in a 1 bedroom suite last June, and had to work / attend video meetings, and it was not comfortable at all doing so in the room.

They do have a business centre where I had access to a proper meeting room which was handy.
