I have been visiting Pattaya for almost 20 years, but I have yet to take my mongering escapades to Phuket!

I will shortly be on the island though, and wondered how things work on Bangla Rd and elsewhere.

Are there options in the beer bars to take ST upstairs; similar to Soi 6?

Or is the only option to go back to your hotel?

As far as I know there aren't any. You'll have to go to a hotel. That is from my experience OTOP and Bangla bars.

It's been a few years since I partook in Phuket but in my experience there were no bars on Bangla with ST rooms upstairs. There did used to be a couple of ST hotels on the little side sois but no idea if they are still there anymore.

Im waiting to be proven wrong on Patong, Phuket. I keep seeing threads of people interested in going.

These individuals perhaps went a long time ago or have never been.

I went last February for a visit. I live in Pattaya. I went to Phuket several times over the last 30 years. There was a scene in those times. Small but there was.

Today there is nothing but a westernized scene. What do I mean when I say that?

If you enjoy Freemont St in Las Vegas with a beach at one end, go for it. The bars are all tourists. There are no bars to meet thai girls, none.

Those girls are for display and are not going anywhere with you unless its a one off and will be so expensive you wont wanna tell anyone how much you paid😂

In Patong you either use TF, go to some lackluster over priced massage joint or ....

Your young and can pull a female tourist. Thats right, I use vegas comparison because the bars on bangla (the only bars in patong) want men to hook up with westernized female tourists. Your not gonna get a Thai girl unless shes on the street freelancing ( mainly beautiful lbs).

The Thais will be on display, bring you your drinks, allow you to waste lots of money. However, there is no sex in the champagne room so to speak.

Its a westernized tourist trap. Bring your own or watch the shit show taking place around you. They ruined Phuket. Feels nothing like Thailand.

Any moment now someone will talk abt how you need to get out of Patong to have some real fun, you need to explore😂😂

I dont fly to Phuket to explore and find it. I want the fun patong of old. Its gone and not worth going to in my opinion only.
