Any recommendations on shops to buy a bicycle?

I know there's Lazada, Supersports and Decathlon. Any other recommendations?

The thai owned bicycle shops.  Find them on google maps.  One on Threppasit about soi 8.  Others on Sukhumvit, Nacklua part.

The guy at SV bike, Threppasit is keen and knowledgable.  I get my bicycle fixed there.

If you're looking for inexpensive, basic functional bikes, then Decathlon and Big C are good sources.

For better quality and better components, then Eastern Bike and S.V. Bike are worth a visit.

I first went to S.V. Bike Pattaya, but the prices were quite high (10,000+ THB).

I ended up buying two from Raan Samortong, just further up the road from S.V. Bike for about 5,000 THB each.

S.V. Bike deals in mid to high range bikes with quality components. The low end bikes are fine for puttering around Pattaya, but you'll find the components, like the front shock, failing a lot sooner than the bikes sold by S.V. and Eastern Bike.

Yeah, I only use the bike once in a blue moon. Not on a daily basis, and not for miles and miles.

So I didn't want to pay a high price for it. Thanks for the extra info provided 👍

Two bicycle touring companies which have quality bikes. Suggest email to ask if they sell them in good condition after a period of use.

Both are in Bangkok: check web for addresses -
