Just got back from 4 nights at Somerset. Moving forward, there will be no other hotel I will stay at. Somerset checked every box for me. I booked an executive suite so we can do laundry and chill. At check in they upgraded the wife and I to a 1 bedroom suite. The room was huge. Only problem was there's NO outlets in the bathroom. No outlets near a mirror. Crazy for such a nice hotel. The bath tub filled fast. The lobby of the hotel was a modern design, very high ceilings. The pool are was nice, no umbrellas since you're talking rooftop. The restaurant wasn't bad, fairly priced. The vending machine was marked up in price. Room service wasn't marked up either. We had no problems bringing back girls at night. They never asked the girls for an ID. The location was awesome for the baht bus and central world. Internet speed was over 200 Mbps download, upload was closed to 400 Mbps.

Thanks! I'm going to try it in a few weeks. Sounds like it will be a good alternative to the Hilton where I stayed on all my recent trips. Do you know if they're flexible with room service? I tend sleep during the day and ask for cleaning whenever I wake up and go out in early evening.
