Recommendations please for apartment / hotel 7000b 1 week

Ok I am trying to find a hotel or apartment for my next trip what would you guys recommend on a 7000 bhat budget for 1 week or in that price range give or take 2000 (7k is the aimed budget but would go up a bit if its worth doing). whats the best I would get for it ?

You could also try "The Football Club" its a small but good guest house behind the Globetrotter Inn, right near the corner of Beach Road and Central Road. Owner is a Brit named Colin. I think you can reach them at the following cell number: +66 9 258 5472

 

They have about 12 rooms and weekly rates that I think would fit your budget. I haven't been there in 1.5 years, so I don't know if they are still there, but worth calling to check.

7K a week? more than enough, you can even get a good pool for that money if you look around. Bit more trickey as you approach mid Dec early Jan though.

Check out Liquid Lounge. Thats nearly a month for 7k baht. Same can be said for Canterbury Tales. And if you want something more the likes of Areca, then there is always the PhuPhaya Resort. They advertise higher prices on their website, but when you call and talk to them in person, you should be able to get something in the 800-850 per night range. For the money though, Liquid Lounge has the nicest rooms for the price. Many a BM has even stayed in the same room, not at the same time of course lol.

 

As for staying on a budget, if your trying to do it for as little as you can, can't beat Dave's prices at Canterbury. Also I believe the rooms above Club Blu are very nice, and reasonably priced. Cheers my friend, and have a great time in Patts.

Yes -- I am open to renting for a week in my View Talay 5, ocean front building unit, but not my cheaper View Talay 1 units. For my View Talay 1 units I always keep the rentals at 2 weeks and up.

I have stayed for 30 days at the Liquid Lounge last Oct/Nov in their large room and will be there again for another 26 days starting next Monday! The rooms are big & Spacious with a very large balcony as well,

Don"t really understand your comment regarding their website as the pictures are exactly what you get.and cannot make any comparisions with C.T as never seen their rooms. However one thing that is for sure is that the Liquid Lounge is in a far superior location especially in the rainy season as Soi Chayapoon turns into a muddy quagmire.

I stayed here in March 2011 for a few nights, and paid 700B/night (web-site says 800B), would definitely stay again. The rooms were fine, well-cleaned (daily) & equipped and properly maintained/decorated, and the bathroom excellent, food downstairs was also OK, and they let me check-out a few hours late at no extra charge. Deposit held until check-out for the reasonably-priced minibar. Separate-entrance for night-access so visitors no problem. The owner's wife (owner away) speaks excellent English, the location is only 60m to the Beach Road & Pattaya-Central Road, web-site is at www.tfcpattaya.com
