Thank you Lottellee, was waiting for your review of this hotel. Looks good and I may book it for may next stay.

It's part of Radisson hotels. So if you need some nights to requalify, that is a cheap way to do it.

I can’t say for definite mate, as I don’t really watch TV in the room. Below us a picture which seems to indicate the TV is pretty modern, so I’m guessing it’s probably smart.

Cheers. I like a little TV when getting ready for golf in the morning. Looks like it should be ok. Looking forward to my stay. Great review as always

Update Review January 2026

I absolutely love trying out new hotels. So why is it that I am getting so incredibly boring by continuing to stay at the Lewit? In short, it’s absolutely fantastic! It totally ticks the boxes for me.

IMG_1683.png.33be4683b6628ce4e5c4b20f5f827050.png

I checked in a few days ago and the first thing to say is that they allowed me to check in at 11:45 AM… how cool is that? My advice is it’s worth paying an extra few hundred baht a night for a pool view room. Try and get on the fifth or sixth floor 501,503,601,603… these give you great views not only of the pool but right up to the top of Pratumnak Soi 5, and even to the Buddha at the top of the hill.

After a morning’s golfing, my mate who has flown in from the UK and I, will sit on the balcony and have a few cans of Singha - just chilling and unwinding. Similarly in the evening, with a gal, just put a bit of music on and sit with a few beers. It’s also remarkably cool as you can have the room windows open, and the Aircon chilling, the balcony (apologies to all for my ‘green’ faux pas 😉).

Talking of Aircon and green issues, this is one of the few hotels that give you two cards… thus are allowing you to have the Aircon on when you’re not in loom… another plus point in my book.

One of the few sticking points about this hotel was the breakfast… it was pretty mediocre previously. New manager in and the staff are much better as is the customer service. Of course they know me by now, so as soon as I come in to the breakfast room, they ask “mister you want 3 Kai Dow (eggs) sook sook (well done both sides cooked). Yes good breakfast including nice coffee.

Water pressure in the shower is good and the water is hot - I also like the fact that the towels are fluffy… not that thin stuff that you get elsewhere. I’ve booked here for seven nights, but I’m going to try and add another four. The hotel doesn’t seem that busy but on the Agoda website it’s showing it’s fully booked. I guess I’ll just go to the desk and ask.

Regarding ladies, during the day you can just walk in with them, no questions asked (although you can of course request that they put their cards in the desk). From 6 PM onwards there’s a security dude downstairs who takes cards from the gals. The staff are unflinchingly polite to any guest you might bring back.

The quality of customer service at this hotel is nothing short of fantastic, I also like the way that the place doesn’t look worn, so that must mean that they continually refurbish.

So all in all, I unreservedly, recommend the Lewit.

Lottelee Winna Score : 8.5/10

@LOTTELLEE WINNA Thanks mate. Another fine review with good info. I used to stress a bit about choosing the right hotel. Like you, I prefer to mix it up a bit and try out new places in new locations. I've followed you into a number of your recommendations (Amber, The Sirin, The Fifth and others) and they have all lived up to the expectations based on your reviews so top marks and big thanks!!

Anyway, regarding The Lewit, how does it compare to The Fifth (which I rate as a favourite of mine) and did the pool view room have a walk in shower (photos on Agoda aren't clear) ?

Cheers.

Thanks for the positive feedback mate, truly appreciated. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the recommendations, yes all the hotels you cite are good. Yes, like you I rate the Fifth, my guess is that it and the Lewit are on par…my preference slightly being the Lewit as I’ve got a huge liking for the upmarket feel of Pratumnak Soi 5.

Walk in shower - pic below.

@LOTTELLEE WINNA I know you like the Sirin Exclusive, but how does  the Lewit compare with it. Pros/Cons of each. Thanks

Yes the Sirin is my absolute favorite, but I’m also a big fan of the Lewit too. So these two hotels are directly opposite each other on Pratumnak Soi 5 and they both rival each other in terms of quality, although in my view the Sirin shades it.

Rooms - I would happily stay in either hotel rooms, they are spacious and comfortable. If staying at the Sirin ask for a high floor with a view to the sea (I usually stay in rooms 506-510)…there is no extra charge for this if such a room is available. Personally, I think that the best rooms at the Lewit are the ones on a high floor with a pool view (this also gives you a view all the way up to Buddha hill)…however, it’s worth noting that there is an extra charge for a pool view room - the rooms at the back of the building look into a nearby apartment block.  In both hotels I personally would avoid a room with a bath, as this means that the shower over the bath.

Pool - The Lewit is more of a resort type hotel, where the rooms are built around the pool, as opposed to the Sirin where are the pool Is the rooftop variety. Both pools are fine, although I found the Sirin to be less busy. The views from the rooftop of the Sirin are absolutely stunning.

Cleanliness - Both hotels scored 100% on this count. Put the ‘please clean’ sign on, and within an hour, you come back to your room and invariably it’s been cleaned (as always guys please consider leaving ฿20 or ฿40 on your bed for the cleaning lady).

Customer Service - Again in both hotels it’s nothing short of fantastic. There are smiles galore up when you come in and come out of the hotel from the friendly and helpful reception staff. Any guests you bring back are treated with respect, under normal circumstances you’re unlikely to be asked to hand your guests ID in, but of course you can if you want.

Breakfast - Previously there have been well-founded criticisms about the Lewit, however, I am delighted to say that the last time I stayed, there had been a sea-change in personnel and attitude… the quality of the breakfasts now are of a more than acceptable standard. The Sirin breakfasts are also pretty good.

Bar - I’ve never been inclined to drink anything, except poolside, at the Lewit. Whereas, at the Sirin, there is an up market evening bar which does 241 cocktails. There is also at the Sirin a really nice rooftop bar with gorgeous views to the sea.

Overall hotel Quality - The Sirin has a real modern five star feel to it. It’s all chandeliers and gleaming marble. Don’t get me wrong, the Lewit it’s a beautiful hotel too, it’s just a little bit older (but it fully deserves being a member of the Raddison family)

My Choice - I love both these hotels, however if I had to choose the Sirin would be my favorite. That said, if there was a significant price difference (and as far as I can see there’s currently only a couple of hundred baht difference), I would not hesitate to stay at the Lewit again

I've used both as well, and very much like both of them. It seems the Lewit has deals more often, frequently about 20% lower in price. The Sirin rooms have more of an Apart-hotel feel, with a big 2-door refrigerator/freezer, while the Lewit is more of a standard hotel room with a decent sized 1 door fridge. Just a word of warning, the Lewit entrance seems to be a bit hard for Bolt drivers to find, it is actually positioned as shown below. You can barely see the hotel through the trees where they look.

@LOTTELLEE WINNA Thank you for you indepth reply. I too not a fan of shower over a bath (also a little difficult for Thai girls sometimes too) Walkin shower pretty much essential, not against having a bath to soak in.

I also like roof top pools. I guess if Lewit is siginificantly cheaper it is a worthwhile option. Otherwise the Sirin sounds more like a nice place to base one self.

@Phoenix Dave Thank you also for your response. I have even had that very issue at a previous hotel I stayed at.

@LOTTELLEE WINNA Thanks for the review. I was looking for exactly this on the Lewit as I am pondering between a split between Pratumnak and Central Pattaya for my next trip. The proximity between the Lewit and several GCs were the big draw.
