I can assure the Thais that the Arabs know Thailand, Phuket and Pattaya very well. So does half the World.

prices will skyrocketing 

that said it is not certain that they will manage to attract many not to say none,

the rich Saoudi and/or royal Saudi family love the French Riviera and Morocco where they own palaces and visit regularly for 70 years

Thailand can't compete in any area, they not play in the same league

unless by "big spende"r they is targeting lawyers or doctors etc.

Even though these jobs are prestigious, they are peanuts compared to what a real rich Saudi is. I have seen many since my childhood.

Rich Qatari is the same, Rich Kuwaiti is the same
