Transparency for the Thumbs Up reaction?

With dark mode activated, the Thumbs Up reaction looks rather gauche, could it be replaced with a transparent icon instead?

If you can tell me the file and image format you need, I'd be happy to provide a replacement.

Easy enough to do with this online background removing app. I use it all the time for photos I take of hash shirts. Fast and easy to use. Tagging @Harry Brown who added the thumbs up emoji, which is appreciated. Thanks.

I used this one, or if you have a better one , send it and I'll replace the one I did.

Here you go. Ran it through the background remover app which turns the jpg into a png file format (i.e. transparent background).

I see you've changed the emoji to the png version which was 612 x 612. Here's a 100 x 100 version of the same.

Thanks. Doubt anyone but me will notice, but for some reason the emoji appears slightly smaller on PA than on 247. I've sent a PM to the mods on 247 for the file they're using.

Haven't heard back from the mods yet, but I used Save As to grab a copy of the 247 icon. Their image is 512 x 512, but the thumb fills a larger portion of the image canvas.

Sometimes you could react sad to the message the BM is giving, but thankful for sharing it.

I believe the face palm emoji was removed to avoid the negativity it can generate when used.

As for the difference between the thumbs up and like emjoi's; my take is the like is useful when you agree with a post and the thumbs up I use when I wholeheartedly agree with what someone wrote. A like on steroids if you will.💪

No I took them away as people were using them as weapons, I am thinking of taking the "Sad" one away as well.

I took the negatives away as it cause too many fights/arguments and some have decided to use the "Sad" one in it's place.

One or two member have been banned for persistent misuse after being told not to.

While on the topic, I vote for getting rid of the confused look.

First, I don't care if you are confused, if you use an emoji to signify this state, you can tell your story walking.

Secondly if you are genuinely confused, ask the point of confusion, I will answer the best I can to remove confusion.

In summary, what rank do I need to reach before I can arbitrarily start banning people that use the confused icons or displease me in some other minor way?

it's not the points, it's more they way they are used, some members use them to taunt other members that they war with, so rather than deal with their baby brain BS the emoji's were taken away. I can't really see any value in the "doh" emoji anyway. I could just ban them but I try not to do that.

Some people are brittle and get offended to easily. I probably cop more shit than you guys and have learnt to ignore it, mostly.

Only I can or other mods can.
