Amazon Echo screen devices in the US, Canada, and the UK are supposedly swamped with ads and unremovable sponsored ads. Honestly, it's kept me from buying one even though I have several Amazon Echo screenless devices. 

I'm curious though. Would an Echo Show, set to Thailand as it's home country, show Amazon advertisements?
