Maytara Hotel

I am planning to stay at this hotel for few days later this month. I dont find any information in this hotel on this forum. May I know if this is a good option in that area?

It is fairly well reviewed if you search. I've stayed there once before about 5 years ago and my thoughts are that its a solid, well located three star hotel with absolutely appalling wifi! I did get a quote from Agoda before my trip last year but it wasn't as good value as before

I stayed there a few years ago and was roomy and clean .

Staff were helpful and nice.If there was trouble with wifi staff 

would help.

@neilri2001, @Scottie1 Thanks, I realized I was searching in wrong sub posts. later I managed to find. I will proceed to book this hotel for this trip as most of my regular hotels in that area are not available or Agoda gives shows me high prices. Yeah, I heard wifi is really bad there. but I am ok without it, just there to relax

I'm currently staying in Maytara yes location is great staff is friendly didn't ask for ID when I had a ST coming to my room.At the reception there is a sign that says guests will be charged 500 bht but they clarified that only applies when you bring more than one to your room.

The room itself is basic but ok,a repainting would be more than welcome but no big deal.

I paid around 32 eur a night (1100 baht).

Booked for 3 days. Had stayed there once. Generally only go for 1 LT a day, so always book double occupancy and never had any issues. This time planning for a few STs.

When you mentioned applies only to more than one. Is it when you brings girls together or does it apply to when you have 2-3 STs a day also - meaning bringing one girl at a time during different times of the day ?

Hi, from what I understood it applies only if you are bringing more than one at the same time.
