hi been looking I should have booked sooner I did see Eva air had a discount code for bookings before December 2nd but hey ho I not pull the trigger . I don't mind one stop but prefer direct so only Eva and Thai from uk . also I like either business class or premium economy ? anyone tried Swiss or Finnair thank you for your thoughts

BA also fly direct , up to the end of March and starting again end of October ( three times a week I believe ) , they also have premium

Have flown Swiss, Turkish and gulf as well as eva. All good in their own way but was biz class each time so can’t comment on premium. Turkish service in biz very good but conversely gulf seats very nice and private. Swiss have ‘throne’ seats if you’re on your own which I wasn’t. Keep searching for deals at the moment and nothing much about

Finnair business is great, just long enough to have a full 8 hours sleep and a couple of meals. It’s always much more expensive than Qatar or Emirates etc

I,ve seen premium economy Austrian airways out 45 mins to change then to Bangkok premium then return direct Eva air £3100 saving £900 on Eva air prices

I have seen the basic business on Finn air for February at £2200, I've not tried them,, but they are high on my list for the next one

funnily enough I saw the same price but considerably longer flight times but £3000 cheaper than Eva or thai

I did look into it,the stopover on the way back was long, but there are sleep pods in the terminal

Yes, with flights from Gatwick, which some members may find more-convenient to get to/from.
