Looking for a hotel at $40 for Jan 14-17

Guys,

I have booked the following hotels for a shirt trip in Pattaya

I usually have a late breakfast,do a bit of shopping at MIkes and Central and then hit Soi 6.Always end up the night at WS.I come back at about 3-5 am back to the hotel

Looking at easy access to Bhat bus and coming back early morning to the hotel.Plus a good location to the malls, decent food.Doesnt have to be 1 min away from WS as it will be very loud

and modern rooms (more than 25 SqM),good shower and toilet

These options are available for about $40-45$

Kokotel

Vogue

April Suites

Which seems better?(please free to add any other options)

If you are going for a shirt trip, I would make sure your hotel is close to Central Festival Mall. 😁

Vogue is far away if you are going to Soi6 often. Sometimes will require 2 bhat buses. Walking Street is one bhat bus away from bukhao.

April Suites is on second road. One bhat bus away from Soi 6. Also walkable distance to central festival. Terminal 21 is also one bhat bus away for shopping. Walk to the beach and get a bhat for ws as well. Only negative is the location is inside a small alley which is sometimes difficult to find for girls if you use thaifriendly

For options suggest check trivago.com

Plenty of place to buy shirts. Bargain prices at Mikes Shopping Mall and Soi Buakhao market.

Thanks all for the replies

The map is a bit confusing

So is it alright if I stay near the Beach road or 2nd road for ease of commute?

Also what's the cut off time for Bhat busses?

Cut off time ?  This is Thailand    5555    availability of bus going in your direction is extremely random - at any time of the day or night

AFAIK they go 24/7

Please keep in mind that everything I write is based on my own experiences, my personal preferences and my expectations. YMMV!

There's nothing wrong about being cheap ... but being cheap isn't being smart ... never was, never will be ... it's just cheap

A lot of people travel by Bhat busses here and of course I take Bolt quite a lot as well

Is it cheap to take a bhat bus?

Both locations are good or even Soi Baukhau.

If on beach Rd you will need to walk a block to 2nd to get the baht bus to Soi Six.

For walking st you can get the bus from beach Rd or Soi Baukhau.

If Soi 6 and walking st are you main destinations then 2nd Rd is ideal for the baht bus route.

10 THB within Pattaya Central, 20 THB to Jomtien

There was a big hint     any time of the day or night     there is no "last bus" ... they are 24/27

The best answer is it's up to the driver but hey, if it matters, Pattaya may not be the right place for a weekend

Any place on Soi 10 or 13 will serve your needs well.  Use map view in Agoda. Check hotels on those two Sois

Beach road and 2nd road are generally parallel and one way streets. The traffic on beach road runs towards Walking Street and the traffic on 2nd road runs away from Walking Street. The further you are away from Walking Street the greater the distance between beach road and 2nd road.

Was going to suggest this place as Dynasty Inn ($40) & White House ($45) on Soi 13 were my go to places in the early 2010s. Quiet, central location though like a 5-10 min walk to WS or LKM & a short baht bus ride to S6. Mattresses at Dynasty were on the hard side though not sure what they are like now.

Sandy Spring hotel is also on that Soi and in his budget range

Unfortunately, on Booking and Agoda's app, the price of April Suites has doubled. This hotel is indeed a good choice if you choose a high floor facing the rooms inside, at a price of less than 1000 baht.

地图有点混乱

那么,如果我住在海滩路或第二路附近,交通方便可以吗?

另外,Bhat 巴士的截止时间是什么时候?

Anytime,But if you come out of the Walking Street very late, drive may ask for a higher price, I recommend taking the bolt in the mid night
