This has probably been covered, but I can't find it. How do I reverse threads so the most recent post comes up first instead of last?

That's the order of threads. I think he wants (for some odd reason) to reverse the order of posts within a given thread. Which is not a feature. Would be possible to do with some grease monkey scripting, I guess.

I think seeing the most recent post in a thread first would be very useful.  I'm surprised its not an option.

In a thread with 60 pages, you see page 1 first, oldest.  You then have to click to go to last page, and then scroll down to get to the most recent.  Many clicks, scrolling and waiting for pages to get shown.

Email intefaces show most recent email first by default.  Imagine if your email system always showed the oldest email first !

To go directly to the newest post in a thread, you can click on the clock or the total number of replies, both to the right of the thread title.

In View New Content clicking on the thread title takes you to your last read post, clicking in the post number takes you to the last/ most recent post in the thread.

In forums clicking on the time / date will take you to the last / most recent post in the thread.

The alternative is to leave the post order as is, but in the settings switch to "Take me to comments I haven't read". This way you can still read from top to bottom, but always automatically go where you left of. I find this the most convenient way.

If I am interested in a thread, I click the "Follow" Icon. then it will pop up in my notification with the most recent posts.

Otherwise I click "Activity" then "All activity" this will put ALL posts in every thread in time order from first to last.

If you see the Star  in the below pic that means you have posted in that topic and if you click it, it will take you to the last unread post.

The circular dot means that you haven't posted in that topic but clicking it will take you to the last unread post by you .

See the BM profile to the right of the topic which happens to be the last post at that time, you can click on the time stamp and it will take you to th last post

Nailed it!. That's exactly what I was looking for. Not very intuitive. Thank you.
