MAC TV Appreciation Thread

I think the lad deserves his own appreciation thread. Quite young and already a Pattaya veteran and he seems to be living a good, comfortable live and keen on Thai culture.

Anyone else a fan of his?

As Iv'e said on another thread, Mac is just another alcoholic British vlogger trying to make a living on You-tube. He usually has his ex-bargirl GF in tow and is pimping her out and another live-in GF on live streams. He was interviewed by another Vlogger and said he hated guys filming the girls on Soi 6, funny that seeing as he always seems to feature Soi 6 in most of his videos. He is doing rinse and repeat content with his own twist, fair play to him if it lets him stay in Pattaya with the money he makes.

Personally, I don’t think YouTubers/Vloggers deserve any appreciation or attention at all.

No.

I have met this man. I don't dislike him as such. Just find his videos to be slightly annoying. He makes good videos, good quality, but they are very click baity.

When I met him, there were lots of men managing bars on Soi6, and they would make a point of approaching me and buying me drinks, talking to me, and really I hated it, even though I tried to be polite and buy drinks for them too, and engage them in converstaion, I didn't travel thousands of miles to thailand to meet men in bar.

So I'm glad that he's moved on from Soi6 and it seems many other managers have too, I only want to speak to women, preferably bargirls.

I watch his live stream every now and then, I worry about him, he appears to drink on stream, I only hope that it's fake and he's actually drinking water in reality.

I think his record was like 500 or 600 drinks in a month as a bar manager on Soi 6. He does seems to have a bit off insider info with having an ex-bargirl GF, like saying in one of his videos that Thai men would walk up and down Soi 6 and take some of the girls to a special graveyard and tattoo them using menstrual blood (that's those red tattoos that you see)....bizarre!...Apparently they are supposed to imbue the recipient with courage, confidence and protection.

In the latest vids he is living with 2 thai girls. Have to hand it to him, he is living out his life. 

I have met him on Soi 6, he is not a bad dude.

I agree. Boring pests who haven't a clue how to edit video so you have 45 minutes of video which should be 12 minutes of content. Because they're lazy.

I like his content, atleast the videos that I have seen from him aren't just filming girls secretly on the street. The content that is educational/has some story value is always better entertainment IMO.

It does make me laugh guys posting how they hate these Vloggers then go on about how the Vloggers content is rubbish, meaning they are watching the content🤣

I found his content pretty educational on getting me up to speed with Pattaya. He's mentioned a ton of good advice that I also found on this site.

In my opinion, as I mentioned in other videos and as another forum user commented earlier, the problem with bloggers is that their content is pretty mediocre and very unoriginal. They copy each other, using the same thumbnails to capture clickbait.

I believe there are tons of people in Pattaya with amazing stories, yet these people just focus on recording poor-quality videos that they copy from each other. And appart from that they don't even have the manners to ask if u are agree to be filmed by them

I watched a live stream today of his friend using his phone to do a live stream walking around some of the areas where bargirls are to be found.

I'm not sure how long he was doing it for, but I started watching near the bit where he was in LK Metro. It was quite cringe and hard to watch, i muted the video several times and had to look away, but as he started to drink more and even smoked some weed he became less cringetastic and it wasn't so hard to watch.

I didn't donate or take part in any way, but I must say it was nice to see someone walking around and talking to the ladies. Though I was slightly shocked and almost offended when he remarked to his wingman about two ladies that he had observed and used a derogatory remark to describe them, I guess he forgot his manners after drinking so much and being stoned. It's not good to talk about the ladies that way, there were about 300 viewers at that moment, the stream soon ended and he went home.

Overall it was good.

I watched the stream too. I don’t remember the derogatory word that he used though?

In his last stream there was a rude comment from a guy and he mentioned that he’s just vicariously living through them but was quick to mention that he’s only talking about that one guy not everyone else. But that’s what everyone else including me  is doing 😂

I wont repeat here as there is that 99.1% chance that I misheard. And who am I to throw shade at an honest man extending his stay in Pattaya via YouTube?

I just happened to be paying attention at that moment as he was trying to find a bar on Soi 6 that would allow him to film, and I heard some words and I thought to myself, "you should not have said that" but people say stupid things when they are drunk, it's to be expected.

I actually watched some of that live stream and his mate Adam is just a liability on the piss. He’s probably a nice guy if you meet him sober, but with a drink down he’s nuisance to put it lightly.

Can someone expand on this, what happened as i don't watch his or any livestreams in general. 

If it has to do with that guy Adam...well i just can't warm to him somehow. Just has that sleazy look about him

They were in a bar in Soi 7 and Adam and Mac’s girlfriend were on the stream. All of a sudden someone off the camera said something to Adam and he went towards him and was shouting.

It was off camera but we heard a bunch of swearing from Adam, Mac was sat and had a look of disappointment and went to stop it. Eventually the bar manage and a few others stepped in and it all calmed down.

It seemed like it happened all the time as nobody was really fazed except for Adam who was really drunk. He kept on saying the guy was a gentleman for apologising and then also said that he still wanted to kick his ass lol.

Whilst all this was happening Mac’s girlfriend was dancing lol, it was the funniest thing because of the fight happening in the back.

Then what made it even crazier was that when they left the bar, a guy on his bike swerved around them and had an accident. It was a bad one where his ankle was literally popping out and it was just so much chaos all at once.
