I'm fully aware of the history of the rivalry but it's debatable whether or not this is a true 'derby' as the teams are not really local to each other......what's even more interesting is the true origin of the word 'derby' game and where it actually came from.

 

If you class United v Leeds scum as a derby then undoubtedly the biggest derby game of all is United against the dippers......as well as being the biggest game in English football. I myself do not class this as a derby game though.

 

I'm quite happy to let you sweat in the lower divisions for a few more years.
