Ive stayed here before so I know what to expect.  It’s a Nana cheapie.  Great for those couple of days before heading to swampy. 
 

It’s easy check in and conveniently located on Soi4 near the Soi 6 cut through. Very close to laundries, massage, the African girl hangout and of course the Plaza itself. Boasting as the world’s largest adult playground.  We can debate that but it’s sure to keep me amused for 2 nights.  

It appears this time I lashed out on the Junior Suite.  From memory it was only listed on Agoda.  I booked 6 months ago for 720bt per night.  Bargain. 
 

This was nice

and this was unexpected 

Certainly has potential. At 30m but no window it should be good for a sunless sleep in.  Other rooms are smaller.  No play mat and no windows. Others still have windows are similar size with no play mat.  
 

Clean and ready to go.  Reception is pleasant. 700bt charge for third guest.  Bar at the front with some ok takeaways in the past if you couldn’t be bothered walking.

Many thanks for that...I just booked for early June 3 nights @ Aud $36 per night. I dont need too many luxuries or 5 star stuff...just a reasonable place in a good location is good enough for me.

I stayed here 3 nights back in 2017, and paid 1100 baht/night.

Front facing room with window. small but nice room with big bathroom.

Bed had a hard matress, but I like that so no problems!

Cons was music noise from bars opposite the street at night,

and my room had an obnoxious antiseptic smell from insect spray,

that gave me a head ache and runny nose!

Great location and price, I would like to stay again, but worried about if still has the smell in the rooms!?

I read somewhere that rooms have been renovated lately?

How about music noise from the bar outside the lobby?

Well, the junior suite no windows is up the back.  No noise at-all other than air con.   The bed is hard as you say.  I’d say it’s been painted since 2017 but the room looks the same as your pics.   I think the window rooms must be either front or at the back.  For sure the front gets street noise. 
 

No chemical smell in mine
