1) Flipper lodge- Sea View room.

2) Diamond Beach Hotel- Sea View room.

3) Sandy Spring Hotel- Sea View.

All "around" a thousand per night, and right in the action. All have room service with great food within walking distance. #1 and #3 have awesome pools, and balconies.

Obla Dee bro.

Cheapest balcony room at Sandy Spring is 1480B. Stay there between 25 Dec and 15 Jan and it'll cost you an eye watering 1980B! Nice hotel but these prices are crazy.

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

Eastiny,, I know of 2 on Soi 8 and you say theres one on Soi7 also? The Eastiny Plaza on Soi 8 is a great place to eat. But I heard there rooms are around 14000 a night. So How Many Eastinys are there??

That must be new. For the last couple years its been low season, standard for 999...(inc breakfast) Gonna check out the website, many dont take advantage of the breakfast so it will be a good deal for them.

Surprised nobody has said Galaxy Suites...they advertise on this site and are under 1K bt.

www.agoda.com seems to have a special on.

Keep an open eye - Agoda seems better than it is because their prices are exclusive taxes and fees.

Eastiny?

Does the Estiny have loom safes?

I stayed in Flipper house in April and they didnt so would never stay ther again, its a pest having to go to the reception boxes and then you gottta be careful with your S/T.

Is IBIS a good choice? Besides the Agoda, is there another website that I can search for the hotels?

These should keep you amused for a while :Good_Post:

Be aware that Agoda tend to NOT add things like taxes and service charges to their prices until you get further on in the booking process, so, what looks like a good deal turns out to be run of the mill after all

Slightly above the 1k mark is Summer Spring on Soi 1 which I can recommend. The daily rate is 1200 but if you stay 7 nights the 8th is free taking the daily cost to 1050 Baht.

I had noticed this too. Prices exclude taxes. That can come as a real suprise to some. Agoda, are not the cheapest in town by far. I also think its a bit of a cunning way to get a booking. Agoda ... grrrrrrrr
