Where to buy cheap LCD monitor.

Hi,

 

I'm donating an old office computer to an ex Thai girlfriend, I'll be bringing it in my backpack, but I'll need to buy an LCD monitor and I want to spend the absolute minimum!

 

I was wondering, is my best bet tuk.com, or is there somewhere I could get a used one.

Three answers

 

1. It will be cheaper in the UK if you can carry it. Computer prices are higher in Thailand.

 

2. Tukcom if you buy in Pattaya

 

3. Pantip Plaza if you can get to Bangkok - its cheaper than Tukcom usually.

Try popping into some of the Internet Cafes and see if they have some old ones sitting around. On my last trip I was able to set up a friend of mine with a used computer and monitor for 3000 baht total.
