Hi Addicts,

I have decided to take the plunge and head to LOS for some RnR during the mid year break of Uni.

I will be in Pattaya from 2nd June till the roughly 8th June (haven't decided 100% on the return date).

As its my first time and travelling by myself, i was wondering if any seasoned Addicts would be in town to show me the ropes. My shout of course(drinks that is), just no shitty Fosters.

I have read through the forum and have absorbed some great advice and invaluable information.

I am going to stay at the Queen Victoria as they seem to have nice rooms with decent price and are GG friendly from what i've read. What are your thoughts?

Also I will be Budgeting upto 10,000baht a day including hotel. is this too much? too little?

The Queen Victoria is a great place to stay and I've spent some time there. It's on Soi 6 which is pretty wild and you're going to get eaten alive and I'd love to see a photo of your face during that first stroll down Soi 6!

 

10,000 a day is plenty mate and you'll be able to party pretty hard on that.

 

You're going to have a blast and you may as well start booking your next trip as well because you're going to be hooked!

Ok guys I have booked my flights and I arrive on the 3rd of June and depart on the 12th of June.

I have also put in a reservation with the Queen Victoria for one of their deluxe rooms, hopefully I will get one with a balcony, and is 900baht.

 

Now the best way to get to Pattaya, is that with Mr.T. Ive read somewhere he is pretty cheap?

I just get a regular taxi from airport. Think 1500 bht. Never had a problem but maybe someone knows a cheaper way. Good luck and enjoy. Only prob with QV Soi6 if u have front room could be noise factor but you will probably still be partying and not ready for bed till long after they cease the music etc.

check out the bellbus 200 baht from the airport and it will drop you at your hotel ( or corner of soi 6 ) [email protected] many bm use this service and they swear by it value for money and nice jolly ride or if you wanna throw your baht around 1200 for taxi,,,up to u .
