Condo for Sale

The Mrs and I own a small condo (~ 45 sqm) in Jomtien Rim Haad Condos. We are looking to sell it.

https://pookiewinkwink.wixsite.com/jomtienbeachcondo

The condo is in Bldg A near the front of the property. The condo has basic amenities and no appliance problems. There is a large salt water pool and good security. The condo complex is near soi 9 and Jomtien Second Road across the street from the "Back Fabrik" restaurant (excellent pretzels). Our initial asking price is 1M THB. Pictures and visits available upon request.

This would be a good buy for a "Snow Bird" visitor or someone who might be looking to get a little better place for a more serious TGF.

We are leaving for a one month US visit in a few weeks.

Send me a PM for further info.

I made a mistake with regard to the sqm size of the condo. I have not been in the place in over 5 years and I remember it as being the same size as a VT2A single unit. The condo that is for sale is 29 sqm and has been recently remodeled.

My apologies to anyone who may feel that they were  misled.

1 mill for 45 sq.mtres is good value....but not for 29....good luck anyhow.

Agreed.  We need to reconsider our price. I had initially based it upon what single units are going for at VT2A and that the condo for sale has recent appliances and a remodel. Obviously not a valid touch point with regard to the VT2A comparison.

We are leaving for a one month stay in the US in a few weeks. We have a realtor friend who returns to Pattaya about the same time that we do. We will compare notes with her after our mutual returns and make a new start of this.

Again, all apologies for having my head up my ass. This is the first time I have been part of a condo sale.

I am thinking that perhaps we should focus on finding a Thai buyer, as they seem to be more comfortable with smaller rooms. Probably an economic reason for that ill-considered generalization on my part.

29 sqm might be ok for a few weeks....But as a place to live in permanently its to small at any price......45-50sqm feels vastly bigger....

In general I agree - but location location will rule when it comes to worth.

You should add "for me". For example, hundreds of long term expats residents are living in the 29 sqm studios of Lumpini Ville.

I guess if you own very very little 29sqm might be ok...But 29sqm will fill up in no time....I lived in a 35 sqm for 2 years and that was barely ok....
