Hotel Century Southern Tower - Tokyo

Apart from Onsens, this was probably my favorite hotel in my last few Japan trips.

 

Location:

The hotel is very close to Shinjuku station, which makes it a great base for normal touristy day trips inside and around Tokyo.

There are plenty of restaurants really close by. Some are in the same building, there is also a 7-11 in ground floor of the building.

There is an Italian restaurant between the hotel and the station, best pizza I had outside of Italy so far.

Its a bit far to Kabukicho but still walkable. maybe 10 min walk until you hit the area with all the restaurants and about 15 or so until you hit Kabukicho proper.

 

Rooms:

Clean, comfortable, great beds and spacious. You will likely have a great city view, as the lobby of the hotel is on the 20th floor.

I always stayed in the panorama rooms, and those even come with a map of the skyline that is visible from your room.

The rooms are also fairly large for Tokyo.

 

Pricing:

I traveled outside of the peak tourist times and in each my 3 stays I paid around 200 a night depending a bit on what kind of room I had. You can find much cheaper stays in Tokyo but the rate seems reasonable for what you get.

 

Mongering:

They are guest friendly. I had girls come up directly to my room, I also walked in with a girl neither scenario gave me any trouble.

 

I can't judge the breakfast though, I prefer to sleep in.

I was sure I took some pictures but at least in the album from the last trip I dont see any. You can check it on booking the pictures there were accurate.
