staying at a hotel near Jomtien Beach a bad idea?

This will be my first trip to Pattaya, and my ideal hotel room would have a sea view and a jacuzzi, preferably near Beach Road, so it would be convenient to bring girls back to the room. However, after searching for a while, I found that the hotels on Beach Road that meet these criteria are too expensive. So, I found a 3.5-star hotel near Jomtien Beach. But in this case, would it be inconvenient to bring girls back to the hotel from Soi 6 or Walking Street? If I want to find girls using ThaiFriendly, would they be willing to come to a hotel in Jomtien Beach?

Possible but not practical really.

I spent the first two years of my trips in Jomtien but this was mixed family group.

Solo you are far better off in central pattaya...TF girls mostly live in that area.

For TF I don't think you will have that big of a problem as a fair share of the TF girls live in Jomtien or between there and Pattaya.

You might not have a problem bringing a LT back to your hotel, but for a ST it would be too far. The traffic in the late afternoon can be pretty bad and last year I just had to give up getting a bolt from Pratumnak to Pattaya. So if your main hunting grounds will be Soi 6 and other parts of Pattaya I would have a hotel in Central Pattaya.

jomtien area is silent, not a active night life there, mostly quiet

not crowded, just far from pattaya main night life area, you have to take a taxi or something to come to pattaya

if you are coming for first time, you have to live hotels near pattaya beach road

I'm going to disagree. Your description of Jomtien is not the Jomtien I live in.

There is an active nightlife here....many bars! I've lived here 4 years and aside from Covid like every place else it was quiet.

Not sure what you consider near Beach Rd Pattaya. I think just about any hotel in Central Pattaya would be ok and not far from the action.

my advise for a newbie who come to see pattaya night life first time solo, jomtien is not suitable for him

am also stay at jomtien 2 times, good for regular guy

i consider him a beach road hotel because he want to stay at sea view hotel

This is what I'm mainly commenting on and as I said that's not true.

Sure someone here for the first time should probably stay in Pattaya! I forgot the OP said sea view hotel. :)

If price is too expensive then ether give up the sea view or give up the jacuzzi but for your first time don’t give up location.

Definitely stay in central Pattaya.

If someone is on their first trip then anywhere around Buhakow is the place to be. That said, I’m going to agree with @Rocketboy regarding nightlife and Jomtien. I often stay on Pratumnak soi 5 and will spend my evenings in Jomtien.

Is Jomtien more laid back than Pattaya? Of course…but there is still plenty enough nightlife for me.

Yes there are many bars in Jomtien, but far less than in Pattaya.

No agogo in Jomtien, maybe 1 gentlemen club but not sure, and the bars use to close early (some even before midnight ...).

Also there are not a lot of restaurants in Jomtien, far less choice than in Pattaya (important when you have to eat out for every meal).

Jomtien must be a nice place for a long stay, but for short holiday I think it's better to stay in Pattaya.

Saying that, I like to stay in Jomtien from time to time, to rest from the crazyness of Pattaya .... but every time after some days I just want to move back to soi Buakho !!!

We do have a lot of bars... sure not as many as Pattaya, but plenty. First pictures bars on Thrappraya heading to Beach Rd. I know of no bar that closes before midnight. And we do have a gogo and more than 1 GC

Also there are many, many, many food restaurants and markets to chose from here.

The Jomtien you describe is not the one I've been living in the past four years.

All true @Rocketboy  ... except unfortunately Liquor lounge closed down on Monday  ... all the girls showed up at Tip Inn bar (same street, near the corner of 2nd road) ... Sue and I often play pool there, so we got the news directly from them.

On the plus side, we had a great evening with my old friend Sum and we dragged Doc in from the street .. 'forced' him to play pool and have a beer ...

Thinking of staying in jomtien for a few days in November, would you recommend any hotels around this area that are girl friendly and mid price range. Are there any other areas with bars within walking distance ? Appreciate any advice.

These hotels are on Jomtien Beach Rd. The Coco Beach one I stopped in and asked the lowest price room is 1800฿. The Silver Sand in the picture is 1000฿. The Tribe is a bit further south on Beach Rd than the others. Friend of mine stayed there and liked it!

They are all within walking distance of the bars on Soi 7, Soi 5, Soi White House, Thrappraya Rd and the Rompoho Market bar complex.

Also keep in mind there is construction on Beach Rd. Traffic is at this time one way heading south.
