Knee surgery ?

Anyone had Knee surgery in Thailand or Injections for bad knee's with Arthritis or bad Meniscus tears ? 

Or Knee replacement ?  

And how did it go and where did you get treated and the cost $ ?

I'd start by calling Gavin Waddell who is the expat coordinator at Phyathai Sriracha hospital for arranging a consult. It's not a bad drive from Pattaya.

Service wise it's superior to Pattaya hospitals and less expensive by far vs BPH or PIH and any in Bangkok.

I got a hugely comprehensive cardiac workup including calcium CT score for less than the cost of the CT on it's own. 

They supply you with an escort and interpreter and take you to the front of the line for everything.

I see a advertisement quoting 219000 for full knee replacement at a Bangkok hospital not a bad price

Be interested to know how you get on.  I can put up with the pain for now but it will need doing soon.
